Another option is to let someone like me do the hard work for you.  As a long time resident of the area, I have lived in the Knightdale in the Eastern part of the Triangle, Cary in the Central Part, and now Pittsboro in the Western Part of the Triangle.  With over 30 years of area experience, I am what you might consider “a local”.
